Jensen Dental's rvt technique Wire

Jensen Dental's rvt technique Wire

Used to prevent distortion of wax patterns during removal from the die.

Placement:
Bend a short length of wire to a "U" shape. Heat the wire and insert it into the wax pattern. After the wax cools, grasp the wire and remove the pattern from the die through the path of insertion. Invest and cast with the wire in place. The wire may be cut and finished to the casting surface before or after the seating of the casting.

Spruing:
Use your current spruing method. There are no extra spruing requirements when using Technique Wire.

Investing:
Invest the wax pattern and handle. The RVT Technique Wire should remain in place during investing. Removal of the
wire may distort the wax pattern.

Burnout:
Follow the alloy manufacturer's recommended burnout cycle.

Devesting:
Carefully remove investment around wire. The technique wire may be cut and finished to casting surface before or
after the seating of the casting.
